Day 1: Arrival in Bangalore and Transfer to Mysore via Somnathpur
Upon your arrival at Bangalore Airport or Railway Station, our dedicated representatives will be on hand to assist you with your transfer to Mysore. Our journey will take us to your pre-arranged hotel in Mysore, but not before we make a delightful stop at Somnathpur to explore the renowned Chennakesava Temple. This magnificent temple was constructed by a general during the reign of Hoysala King Narasimha III in the 1250s. After we have thoroughly enjoyed our visit, we will resume our journey.
As we approach the city, prepare to be captivated by the illustrious city of temples and monuments that have stood the test of time for centuries. History enthusiasts, pilgrims, and travelers alike are drawn here to marvel at the ancient ruins and architectural wonders. We will then check in at the hotel for our overnight stay in Mysore.
Day 2: Royal Mysore Tour Featuring Brindavan Gardens
Mysore, recognized as the cultural capital of Karnataka, boasts remarkable architecture, historical landmarks, temples, and picturesque landscapes. Today, embark on a brief exploration of Mysore city, which includes visits to Mysore Zoo, Mysore Palace, and Brindavan Gardens.
Begin with a visit to Mysore Zoo (closed on Tuesdays) – originally established by Chamaraja Wodeyar X as a private zoo in 1892. This zoo is home to a diverse array of animals and is among the oldest in the nation. Notably, it is the only zoo in India that houses a Gorilla. Additionally, the zoo features Chimpanzees and Orangutans, along with other exotic species such as Giraffes, Zebras, White Deer, African Elephants, Bears, Porcupines, Rhinoceros, Tapir, and Otters.
Next, explore the renowned Mysore Palace (also known as Maharaja’s Palace). This historical residence of the Wadiyars is an architectural marvel, showcasing artifacts from bygone eras. The palace is surrounded by meticulously designed gardens. It is an exquisite three-story structure made of fine gray granite, adorned with rich pink marble domes. Day 4: Full Day Sightseeing Tour in Madikeri with a Visit to Tala Kaveri

Although the steps leading up the hills are steep, they are manageable for those willing to climb. After lunch, proceed to Abbey Falls, situated just 8 kilometers from Madikeri town.
